Attentive and friendly owner and staff!! Always make you feel at home! The hot and sour soup is delicious! so is the general tsos chicken. The fried rice and lo mein would be better if the shrimp was deveined!!!! That would be my only complaint. It is hard to find a chinese restaurant that cleans their shrimp properly. Otherwise one star taken off for the shrimp and the price. 5 stars for service!

Service is easily 5 stars. Our server was very attentive, and the owner spoke with us on our way out. They couldn't have been nicer.They were so nice, I hate to critique the food, but I got the impression they might appreciate the feedback.I started with hot and sour soup. I enjoyed it. Not amazing but very solid. But then came the chicken wings. I'm not sure if the cook was having an off day but they were just awful. Overly breaded and the breading was completely burnt. I love chicken wings, and despite being a chicken wing snob, they have to be really bad for me to not be able to eat them. I finished one with great difficulty and had to leave the rest. I felt terrible, because I think our server could tell I didn't like them but I didn't have the heart to tell her how bad they were. It's one of those places where you just don't want to hurt anyone's feelings.Next I had the Thai basil Lo Mein. The menu didn't say it came with shrimp, but it did. I'm allergic. Once again, service was fantastic and I was quickly given a new order. It was just OK.They did give us a free dessert which I enjoyed. In summation, phenomenal service, but some of the food we ordered was just way off. If it weren't for the wings I could see this being a 4 star joint just based on the service. But the wings were just so so bad.I can see why folks enjoy this place though, as the owner and servers really make you feel at home.

Eh. The food was expensive and very "American" Chinese food. The wife had General Tso's chicken (yeah yeah, I know, "American,") and I had the Szechuan chicken. We also got the chicken fried rice. The GTC and SC were mediocre. The CFR was solid. We also had the spring rolls (fried) and the egg rolls. Neither were terribly good. And for $40 for all, it was more than it was worth. They were very nice which is why the third star but, honestly, it wasn't anything I would write home for.

I love Chinese food! and Asian Grill is the best! The food is fresh and there are no shortcuts in its excellent preparation. Service is super, staff is friendly. It's a joy and treat to eat here. Darrin, Jenny, Susan, and everyone is really great and make the dining experience exceptional.

Asian Grill is far and away the top Chinese restaurant in Northern Virginia! The quality and preparation of the food is excellent and the staff is always ready to customize a dish to your personal taste. Owner Darrin Ho is most welcoming and always makes me feel at home. He makes each visit special with a tasting of a new dish, appetizer or some other surprise. Darrin and his staff always knock themselves out to give their customers terrific service and make each visit memorable.

My family and friends just love the Asian Grill. Our grandkids love it and think it as a very special place to go. We Love Daren and Jenny....They make us feel very welcome. Local schools even take their classes there as a special treat. It is the best.

Asian Grill combines Chinese food with the feel of a home cooked meal. The hosts are very personable, and make each customer feel welcome. Darin Ho and his staff remember frequent customers, as well as their family members. Easily one of the best value Chinese restaurants in NoVA. A real diamond in the rough.

Every time we come to Asian Grill we are treated royally by Darrin Ho and his family and staff. The food never disappoints us but it is really the service and friendly atmosphere that keeps us returning. We have proudly brought many friends to this restaurant.

This is the best chinese restaurant my wife and I have found in many years. It is easily the best in this area (Springfield, Burke, Fairfax). The dishes contain a good amount of high-quality meat - something we do not see at other places. The service is terrific, and Mr Darin Hos is a great host!

My favorite part of Asian Grill, besides the great food, is being greated by my first name when I walk in, not only by Darrin and Jenny but by the waitresses as well. They know my children and where they go to school, I feel at home when I eat there. Thank you for such a great restaurant!
